Program and Membership Fees
New Rates take effert of September 1, 2010
| Beginner Programs | 8 one-hour sessions | $185 includes HST |
| Intermediate Youth / Adult Membership | By Term (4 Months) | $330 includes HST |
| Open Sport | By Term (4 Months) – Facility fee only, lessons not included | $230 includes HST |
| Guest Membership | Single Visit | $15 includes HST |
Membership fees are paid in advance. We have three terms: September-December, January-April, and May-August. Term fees are due at the start of the next term. If you start with the club mid-term, the fee for that term will be pro-rated.
If you want to drop by and just fence once in a while and do not plan to become a member, you can pay our $15 (including HST) guest fee. Please note that if you plan on coming more than twice in one month, then you must purchase a full membership. Also, those paying guest fees are NOT entitled to private lessons with our coaches.
All fees must be paid by cash or cheque made payable to: Canadian Fencing Academy Inc.
Cash will be accepted but cheques are preferred.
OFA/CFF Memberships – required
All members are also required to purchase a $15 Basic Club Membership (Candian Fencing Federation (CFF) membership (costs $10) and an Ontario Fencing Association (OFA) membership (costs $5).
If the fencer is planning to go to tournaments, they must purchase a Competitive Membership. Competitive Memberships can be purchased through the OFA website . Each is valid for one year ending October 1st of the next year.
Basic Club Memberships can not be be purchased online and must be purchased through the CFA. So for beginner fencers, the CFF ($10) and OFA ($5) memberships ($15 total) must be paid at the first beginner’s class.
Any club member who does not have both a CFF and OFA membership will not be permitted to fence. It is through these memberships that our club receives liability insurance coverage.
